Quality Inn Goldsboro

This was perfect for my business trip. When I left I said I would be back, and for a return trip there was no question about where I was staying. The Internet was fantastic. The rooms are clean, comfortable, in good condition, and I was very comfortable. Housekeeping was the best. They do offer a breakfast; I did not check it out, but the cleanliness of the area was exceptional.

It would have been a 10 but I wasn’t greeted as a rewards member, even at the desk when I said I was while checking in! The noise in the hallway for those two night were horrendous! I couldn’t believe children were up 3 and 4 in the morning! I eventually had to threaten to call the police! I didn’t but an officer showed up the first night! They turned around and did the same thing the following night! The bed was comfortable and it was easy access to my room!

Positive: Location is great, easy access to town but not too much road noise. Negative: I had to have my room key reprogrammed every day of my trip when I returned in the evenings, as if they turned it off each day even though I was not checking out. The attitudes of the staff ranged from uninterested to annoyed being asked to do their jobs.

Great location and front desk staff as a travel nurse I have always had great experience with choice hotels and discounts for 13 week stays not this one they offer no discount and they refuse to address pot smokers that fill the air with reeking smoke!!! I smoke regular cigarettes outside had midnight desk clerk tell me it’s just blow back from door being propped don’t think so with smoke from under door and odor all down hallways and and never see them when I am outside!! This had happened every week since mid December!!

Thought I'd use a single night of all these points from choice hotels I've been holding onto for a free night at this hotel. I make the reservation online, however it is the highest points hands down to stay here, they don't offer the normal points + lower rate as well. So I spend for one night what normally costs only half the amount at almost any other choice property. I arrive to be greated upon check in with some sort of computer glitch were they are not accepting points at all. Only to stand in waiting for almost 30 min while they try and fix whatever is wrong. Then They ask for a credit card for insadentals, to which I'm like what Insadentals? They respond with well if you smoke in the room or break anything. I respond with I don't smoke and I'm checking in at 8pm for one nigh
