TownePlace Suites by Marriott Goldsboro

My family had to travel for a funeral. We spent 5 days at this hotel. It was a sad occasion but the staff made us feel at home. Ms. B's grits and friendly service during breakfast set us up for the start of busy days. Karen greeted us every evening we came back to the hotel with a friendly smile and incredible recommendation. Our room was well taken care of by Princess. We had my 95 year old father with us and all the staff made sure he felt seen and special. This is a great hotel , we felt at home. Thank you so much !

Wonderful experience very clean, the receptionist was very kind and friendly. The room was amazing, everything you need to be comfortable and plenty of storage for a long stay and very spacious. Definitely would come back.

We had a wonderful visit at Towneplace Goldsboro. Minina checked us in and provided lots of great information about the amenities. She was very friendly and a wealth of information. Beverly ensured that our family had a hot breakfast, even at the last minute. Karen went above and beyond her duties to help us find a craftsman who helped us put final touches on a wedding. Housekeeping ensured that we had fresh linens each morning. Thank you to all!

We had stayed in this hotel when it first opened, but it has very quickly become dated and well used. The suite suited our purposes but it just felt very dirty, like it needed a really good deep cleaning. We rented the 2 bedroom suite, it would have been nice to have a king bed in one of the rooms. Neither our garbage disposal nor dishwasher worked, but we didn’t report it because it was Christmas and they were not fully staffed. Overall, it is a fine hotel and suits the purpose, but I just felt like the room could have been better taken care of.

I arrived very late after a rough experience at another hotel, and Minina at the front desk completely turned my night around. She was very professional, kind, and welcoming. Check in was quick and she made me feel instantly at ease. I really appreciated her help
