Hampton Inn Goldsboro

Wonderful staff and extremely clean hotel. Shower had amazing water pressure. Breakfast selection was more than fantastic, waffles, eggs, sausage, muffins and more. Would definitely stay here again.

Won "upgrade" of room, Not. No hot water, light didn't work, phone didn't work and all I asked for was a bed and tub, room had a shower. Found all this out after we had made 2 trips to the car, unpacked and got settled. Ended up having to pack everything back up, and manage to carry everything in 1 trip up a floor to different room. Phone still didn't work, room was outdated, tub had a crack in it. High price for old hotel.

Lashanay in the breakfast room was most welcoming and helpful. Her joy is contagious. |Each of half a dozen staff we talked with was more than friendly. It’s not a new hotel but the staff made us want to come back.

The best thing was they welcomed my dogs!

I’ve been here plenty of times and the front desk has been great; the new girl with the wrist brace was very rude to me and someone else I know at a completely separate time. *update* Two weeks later, another friend, unprompted, told me he had a bad experience with the front desk and it turns out it was the same person, named Tia.
