Homewood Suites by Hilton Goldsboro

We loved visiting Goldsboro to celebrate a very special wedding weekend. The hotel was packed with family and friends making the experience such a joyful time. Sadly, due to the hotel being so full we never were able to get hot water in our bathroom, shower or kitchenette. The lack of hot water was repeatedly reported to hotel staff. We were assured that they were aware and “working” to address the situation. The problem was never fixed and no showers were taken from Friday to Sunday…my hair was not washed the entire weekend! During our checkout we requested a hotel representative to please contact us. I like everything there. They are even a social hours offering a Italy style salad from 5: 30 to 7pm while the night we stayed.

I’ve been staying at this hotel regularly for work, and the staff here truly sets it apart. From day one, Josh at the front desk has gone above and beyond — not only remembering my name, but greeting me with it every time I walk in. He’s consistently attentive, checking in on how my day is going and making sure I have everything I need without hesitation. Her positive attitude instantly makes the atmosphere welcoming, her drinks are always spot on, and her local food recommendations have never steered me wrong. Great experience at Homewood Suites! We will definitely be back when we are in the area. Room was clean and nicely decorated. We did have one issue arise with a clogged toilet but the lady at the desk when I called was super helpful, she brought a plunger up to us, and when it didn’t work she happily agreed to move us to a new room across the hall since the maintenance man was already gone for the evening! Super great customer service in my book! The room we were moved to was much bigger than our first and truly showed what the hotel has to offer! Thank you Hilton for a great stay!

I had a real great experience here. I was here for about a week. Felt like I was at home the whole time the room is very spacious. The showers were very great and hot. I like the amenities that came with the room as well with the dishwasher and dishes that come with the room plus a toaster oven underneath the sink and then the outside patio is very nice at night time with the fire going. it’s a nice vibe in the lobby. Area is very good as well. The breakfast is very great. Overall my day was awesome. I would totally do it again.
