Quality Inn Gillette

This was my second time staying at this hotel and both times have been very pleasant. The rooms have been very clean and comfortable. The staff have been accommodating and friendly. The location has been great for getting around town and for the price, I feel like it’s the best deal in town. 100% recommend.

The front desk clerk that checked me in was pleasant and sought out ways to be helpful. He did not ask me how I wanted to pay, so this conflicted with the booking representative that booked my reservation as he said I could pay via a different method on arrival. The first night, there was a screaming baby on the same floor, so my first night's sleep was not good. The second and third night's stay was better and more quiet. The breakfast was decent, but the eggs tasted fake. Evidently, some water from the shower leaked through the floor below. I'm guessing this is due to the type of shower curtain, which does not repel water, but absorbs it and allows water to drip once it's saturated. You had to ring the bell and wait for service (at 4:30 in the afternoon) to check in. Kinda figured someone would be out front during peak hours. The room looked clean, the beds were comfortable but small (Full sz) and the TV worked. Plenty of closet space to hang stuff but no chair to sit in. Mini fridge worked and there was a litttle microwave. Best part was the curtains closed ALL the way. The bathroom was older and needed to be recaulked and the tub dripped really bad all night but it looked clean. It was a little loud out in the hall but the noise from the highway wasnt bad. When they said breakfast was done at 9am and you get down there at 9:05, they have all the stuff put away and you don't get anything except hot water to drink. Overall, good for the bang for your buck.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise! Super clean and nice smelling room, great water pressure in the bathroom, friendly staff at check-in, and easy location to get on/off interstate. While I didn't partake of the continental breakfast, it looked decent. Will definitely be staying here again as it was just as nice as the more expensive place across town.
