National 9 Inn - Gillette WY

This hotel was a really nice stay for the price. Everything was clean and in good working order. The decor was a bit vintage, but in a charming way. It was fairly quiet, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The price can’t be beat; I would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Gillette.

Pleasantly surprised to get free breakfast at their restaurant for booking online. Easy access to room by parking in front of exit door. Comfortable beds. Bathroom tight quarters. Clean but could use some updates. No iron or hairdryer. Coffee in the lobby 24/7. Best price paid in a week. Extremely nice front desk lady.

Some people would disagree but this National 9 is a very sweet place to stay. Of course there are some things that are dated but I would have absolutely no problem staying here whenever I was in Gillette. Good TV and channels, very comfortable bed, power shower. Restaurant and small casino/lounge attached. Highly recommend!

This is an excellent value stay. The facilities are worn. The bed was comfortable, clean and did I mention quiet! There’s also an outdoor pool. Coffee in the lobby is good and strong. The rates are great. This place caters to workers and passers through. The lobby smells of cigarette smoke but the room didn’t.

I have been at this hotel for over a week. They always respected my do not disturb sign, and on cleaning day, Amy did a incredible job. She moved my collection of shoes out of the way, deep cleaned the bathroom, and went above what I usually see in hotel staff. My room was absolutely impeccable when I came back, with my various shoes moved to appropriate places, etc. She showed pride and care in how she took care of my room, and it was incredibly appreciated. She even ignored my microwave bowl I left in the sink. The staff here are incredibly kind, and make a point of keeping people who wil cause issues out of here. I would highly reccomend this hotel to anyone who needs a good price and a environment they feel safe in. Also, the breakfast? Better than most high end ones! Fresh waffle batt
