Candlewood Suites Gillette by IHG

Stayed for 1 night with one room with 2 queen beds. The room was super spacious and clean. It felt consistent with other Candlewood Suites I’ve been to. The staff was quick to answer and help with the shower diverter I’ve never seen before (which you pull down). Water pressure was great and strong enough to my liking. I don’t recall too much outside noise infiltrating into the room. Overall, a pleasant stay. I would stay again here if I’m in the area. It’s not a deal breaker, but the only odd thing was that I noticed was there wasn’t a toilet seat cover.

Best hotel I’ve stayed at in a long time. I live on the road for work so I’m in hotels constantly. They have spacious and comfy rooms, great service with a friendly staff. A gym with not only treadmills but also with dumbbells. FREE laundry and a 24/7 open snack bar and free coffee. The snacks are pretty cheap like $2.50 and $3 sodas. I’d recommend it here to anyone

The staff at the hotel was great. The person who waited on us was training, but did a good job during check-in and made us feel welcome. The lobby area and rooms were clean and well cared for. My only issue was the size of the bed. It was advertised as a queen, however, it was narrower than ours at home, so just be aware when booking.

Our reservation for for either 2 queen beds or a king. We got one queen. It had a kitchenette with 2 of everything, 2 spoons, two cups, etc. Most everything was still in the dishwasher. There was no sugar for the coffee. No ice in the entire building. In the bathroom, only soap, no lotion. It seemed clean enough but we won’t be back.

This hotel is completely average. The service is okay, the girl at the front desk was obviously waiting for me to leave so her boyfriend could come back up to the counter to talk to her. The rooms are just fine. It's comical that they only service the room every 7 days. They won't make your bed, they won't give you new towels, you have to do the work. They also don't provide breakfast, but they would be happy to sell you things out of their store. The rooms are fairly dated, the toilet doesn't even have a seat on it. The shower is actually surprisingly spacious. The AC is controlled, so the second you leave it turns off and your room gets warm. When I tried to check out, no one was at the desk and I waited for 20 minutes, even after hitting the bell and dialing '0' like they recommended. T
