Quality Inn Downtown Convention Center

This place has seen better days. It is mostly clean but very run down. Breakfast is very basic (waffle or sugar cereal). No pool. Some sketchy people around. But location!!!! We had a tournament 2 blocks away, can't beat parking and walking and not having to hassle with finding somewhere to park. Staff were nice and friendly. Let us use a large room for our team to eat dinner together.

I gave it a semi-favorable score because the location is very close to the Portland convention center. Which is usually where I'm going to attend certain conventions. The rooms are a decent size and a favorable price. Most other hotels that I've stayed at don't typically come with a microwave and a mini fridge, that's a big boost in my opinion for a positive rating. However, to list that there is breakfast at this hotel. The breakfast was a joke. The room is extremely cramped and tiny, there was no room for anyone. Everyone felt extremely uncomfortable. And all there was was dry cereal and two waffle makers that people were taking their time waiting for. Nobody was happy about what counted as " breakfast". Came into town for a Trailblazers game. Stayed at this property. I appreciate the convenience of location. Being a 5 minute walk from Moda Center and transit stop. Room was solid, breakfast was solid, and the gentleman working the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. Hope to return soon.

We were pleasantly surprised to find such a nice room so close to the Moda Center. Although the outside of the hotel appears to be a little tired, the inside of the rooms are very comfortable, quiet and updated. Parking is safe and secure, and the manager was very friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast in the morning! Would definitely stay here again!

This quality inn is unremarkable - in a good way. The rooms were tidy though a bit dated. The bed was comfortable and clean. Complimentary breakfast was simple with the essentials: yogurt, juice, coffee, waffles, instant oatmeal packets and cereal. The staff were very helpful, giving us an extra quarter for the laundry machine (which worked well). If you want any Portland recommendations or humor-filled stories, just talk to Peter at the front desk - he’s got both of those in spades.
