Quality Inn At the Mall - Valdosta

sign says they are renovating . and there was obvious work being done in the room I stayed in.. but it wasn't quality work.. tile work was not even.. grout lines were all varied. tile height was not level.. paint job was a thin coat at best. the shower Nozzle in my room wasn't mounted to the wall had to hold it up to use it. bathroom floor was covered in construction grout debris not loose but just discolored like not properly cleaned after new tile was installed. no chair in the room other than a very small uncomfortable rolling chair. says it has hot breakfast but on the days I was there it was 🧇 waffle irons but had no syrup.. which basically makes that useless. everyone I spoke to at other businesses near by advised me to be careful over there. value for price was fair.. but be aware

This place needs to be shut down immediately! Discovered mold in the bathrooms and walls which caused major headaches throughout my stay. After checking online reviews, it seems multiple guests have complained about mold, dirty rooms, and rude service so this is clearly a pattern that has yet to be solve for years. The manager Jennifer obviously hates her job and is unhappy. She’s very rude, ignorant, and doesn’t care when you bring a problem to her attention. I do not recommend anyone staying here.

It's close to a lot....true. Clean...kinda. this place needs a good DEEP clean and tile needs to be replaced because of mold. Had to wait an extra 30 minutes after check-in time waiting for the the housekeeper and there's still shampoo left on the shower wall. The room itself is fine but the bathroom is disgusting. Also missing the filter holder on the coffee pot. This is obviously a hotel for longer staying guests. It was quiet till around 9 there was a lot of running, shouting and music. The smell was like old smoke. Blankets were very thin. No ceiling light. Only lock on the door was a swing latch. Ac worked great but had a rattle. TV service was good. I'll splurge an extra $40 for the Country Inn next time.

I couldn’t mark a zero (0)! 1. No sprinklers in room. 2. No smoke detectors in room. 3. No desk (low table). 4. No desk chair. 5. No desk light. 6. No comfortable chair. 7. No land line telephone service. 8. TV channel box did not work properly. Had to be reprogrammed from outside tech not on premises. 9. Temperature outside was 38 degrees - No heat from HVAC unit. 10. No blankets on bed! Sheets only. 11. Only 2 small, wimpy pillows. 12. We had to provide our own blankets and pillows we carry in our car. 13. No HOT breakfast or protein provided. 14. While at desk someone called about a refund, having left the hotel at 10:00 pm, which was denied. 15. After our experience we understood why the caller had left and then asked for a refund. 16. Entire property seems to be almost abandoned. Very few rooms occupied, room 146 issues: no safety bar lock on door, bathtub was so old there was no finish on it, holes and gouges in walls and door trim, no drink or snack machine, lobby door kept locked. Front desk attendant was nice and helpful but commented on previous issues on the property making me feel uneasy. Should have lost the room cost and gone elsewhere. Beds seemed to be newly made and clean linens as far as I could tell.
