Provincetown Inn

Every year we go to Provincetown for our anniversary and this year we wanted to stay at the Provincetown Inn. My husband has wanted to go her for the longest time. We were fortunate to have a room right on the water! What a great room. The location was great it was a 20 minute walk to downtown or a short cab ride. ||We got to meet Tyler the general manager who showed us around and told us about the renovation going on. ||If you’re looking for a great place to stay with water view this is the place

My wife and I take a trip to Provincetown every year. We typically come down with a group of friends and rent an Airbnb to accommodate our group size. However, this year, with just my wife and me going, we decided to book a hotel to "treat" ourselves to housekeeping, amenities, etc. Boy, was this a big miss... The website's photos of rooms are quite deceiving, and it feels like the inn hasn't been updated since 1970. We booked a Cape Tip room, and upon arrival, our door to our outdoor seating area was wide open. Throughout the entirety of our stay, the key card entrance to the hallway was wide open. There was no fan in the bathroom, and everything stayed incredibly moist. We reached out multiple times to request housekeeping without an acknowledgment of our request. Tried the on-site rest

😢: Our room was cleaned once during a 4 night stay, despite costing 300+ dollars per night The room was overall decrepit and lacked even the most basic upkeep: - cracks and holes / remnants of stickers etc on walls - cracked / uneven bed that leaned downwards towards headboard - broken and unattached flooring - mould and no fan in the shower - cracked shower flooring - bird poop all over the balcony that had not been cleaned in ages - huge gaps in floor heating vents, from which spiders and other bugs were coming and going - extremely loud and not very functional AC unit - no beach towels We did not meet the anyone but the staff at the front desk, but that was not a nice experience. We had to request a room change starting.

This weekend was my anniversary with my wife and we booked a room at the Provincetown Inn about 2 weeks prior to our stay. We paid the extra money for a room with a king size bed and a view of the harbor. The attached pictures were the view we had. They put us in a room that had a wedding reception RIGHT OUTSIDE. I reached out to the front desk and asked them if they had any other rooms available since we didn’t get the view we paid for. The receptionist was fortunately very understanding and even said, “I wasn’t the person who assigned you to that room but if I were the one who did, I would not have put you there.” I even put in the notes when booking that we were going to be staying as part of our wedding anniversary. We had a lovely stay at the Inn. The location is beyond beautiful along with the amazing view from our room. We spent 3 wonderful nights at a very affordable value. The service was good as we enjoyed the food, the drinks and also the entertainment. Our room did not met the high standard we expected. Cherry-Ann did a phenomenal job last season over our 5 days stayed, we were anticipating to have her again this season. We love Cherry-Ann she is the best.
