Portland Super Value Inn

Positive: The Ck location but lots of homeless and almost not enough parking! Negative: Yes front desk help had zero customer service. I reported that my hotel door on the inside did not have a security bar to go over the door as extra lock when the guest is inside. He proudly stated they are all like that.

You feel bad giving other places a 1-star review after staying here, because the Super Value Inn in Portland is truly in a league of its own. Staying here was truly a traumatic experience. It'd be tough to imagine a worse motel where you'd still walk out alive. Stains everywhere, broken doors, blood stains on the walls and ceiling... I truly don't know what else to say. If you choose to book here, you get what's coming to you!

Let me first start by saying that I did not know cigarette burns and dubious bodily fluid stains could be present on so many surfaces within such a confined space. I’ll preface this one with some background. I am an aged punk rocker of sorts, I’ve slept on floors, I’ve bird bathed in truck stop bathrooms. I’ve been gross. Oh my hell. Was I unprepared for the squalor here. I’ve stepped in literal human feces (indoors) while staying at an hourly motel in the Tenderloin in San Francisco, and that place was still nicer than this one. I foolishly let my partner book this. Which I’m assuming they lovingly did out of frugality (for Portland, it’s hard to beat $60/night and unfortunately we have two nights). Look - the man who worked the front seemed super nice, but the condition of the room offered was in a condition that it should never have been offered for guests. The room Priceline offered looked fine online but in person it was a REALLY filthy room. Shockingly filthy, broken, decrepit, I mean, look at these pictures. I didn't take pictures of the stains on the walls, etc. The place is an absolute wreck. Sorry, but run fast from this one - offering this place for business to the public seems so obviously, incredibly deceptive and wrong.

Rooms are spacious, not very updated, there was a mini fridge & TV. But there was Rust in the bathtub and little damages & holes throughout the walls & stains all over the walls & curtains! Other than appearance, its comfortable and very quiet for being right next to the max stop (which is convenient) & right off the main Inerstate street. For such a low price, having a second connected bedroom to our room adds allot of space & extra room if you want guests. So you can't beat that when it comes to, finding the best local discount prices! And you can't beat the parking you basically pull up to the front door of your room if your on the main floor, there is a second story with stairs to get to it.
