Pirates Cove Coastal Cottages

The nicest place to stay! Came in for a baby moon/last trip as a family of three. We felt so welcomed and we were so relaxed. We stayed in cottage number 9 and would absolutely stay again. Our toddler ran around and had a blast. (Sorry to our neighbors she had some rough nights) my husband loved the dock and sat, enjoyed the water and drank some beers. It was such a lovely time and the owners were so so sweet! We will definitely be back in the future!

We stayed at Pirates Cove recently with friends. The cottages are cute, clean and comfortable. But except for the two bedroom cottage, they are all very small cottages. The small size can be difficult if you have a lot of luggage or clothing to bring into your room. Some cottages have a screened patio while others don't. The common area is nice for grilling, sitting and talking, or having a drink. Owners and staff are real friendly and helpful. We would stay there again.

We were so impressed with the level of service and hospitality at Pirate’s Cove Cottages. It’s rare to find a place that’s both affordable and thoughtfully appointed, but this exceeded our expectations in every way. The cottages are perfect for couples, dogs, and solo travelers. The cottages have all the clutch amenities that are often missing elsewhere—salt, pepper, quality cookware, good coffee, recycling—plus genuinely thoughtful touches like doggie treats. One of my favorite details was the repurposed pay phone on the property that’s a direct line to the owners for support or questions. It perfectly captures the care and personality of this place. A wonderful cottage that has comfortable bedding, lovely decor, a quaint living area & kitchen that is equipped to prepare meals as you may wish. The location is ideal for walking as well as watching tide waters & coastal birds. Outdoors there are grills, patio tables & chairs to enjoy. Owners Brian & Lisa make you feel welcomed & encourage contacts with any needs or questions.

Nice place in Cedar Key. Brian is very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Stayed in cottage #9. Very clean, comfortable bed. Shower works great, towels are OK. Price is reasonable. I would stay here again if were in the area. Only 4 stars because it's a short .5 mile walk to town, which was not a big deal
