We loved our stay at Old Florida Fish Camp! Our cabin had everything we needed for our quick weekend stay, and the entire place was clean. The lounge area was perfect for relaxing evenings playing cards at the picnic table and the dock was beautiful for looking out at the water. The hot tub was off for maintenance during our stay, so we instead took advantage of the many other amenities offered to us. Having the golf carts and bikes available for our use was a huge plus and they were perfect for exploring the town. We can’t wait to be back! Thank you Old Florida Fish Camp for a wonderful weekend!
We really enjoyed our stay. Cabins were very clean and had everything we needed, even had a nice deck with water view which was great! We enjoyed using the bikes ( to ride into town) and the kayaks provided with our stay. Would definitely stay here again.
We had the best time at The Old Florida Fish Camp in Cedar Key! The cottages have been beautifully redone, but they still keep that old Florida charm. Our cabin was spotless and had everything we needed in the kitchen.||The screened porch was our favorite spot — it looked right out on the water and was perfect for relaxing with a drink in the evenings. It was so peaceful with the breeze coming off the water.||Getting around town was super easy with the golf carts, and it made exploring Cedar Key a breeze. This was our first visit here, and we’re already talking about coming back. Such a sweet, quiet spot to unwind — highly recommend it!
Fourth time staying on the island - 2004 and 2020 at Pirates Cove (next door) and at the former Firefly Cottages, now Old Florida Fish Camp. Both stays on the property - 2022 and last weekend - were in Cabin 6. Kudos to Dan and Stacie for the work they did to bring the property back from the devastation of Hurricane Helene. My two nights there were meant to be a solo retreat. I live closer to the east coast but it's Bike Week and nothing was available or affordable, so I was pleased at the room rates and complimentary upgrades - the bicycles, the kayaks and the golf carts. My oldest daughter decided to join me on Saturday night and we went kayaking on Sunday - her first time. We did not use the bikes or the golf carts, although I probably would use the bikes if I visit again. A couple of s
We just spent three nights here. We were in Cabin 3. The cabin was perfect. The mattress was very comfortable. We used the kitchen for most meals. Cabin is well appointed. We loved the view over the water and mangroves off the covered back porch. The hot tub was also very nice. We drove around the key one day. We also took day trips to Three Sisters Springs and Rainbow Springs State Park. Both are awesome, easy walks with plenty to see.
