Park Place in Cedar Key

Before booking I messaged the host and told her I was traveling with 3 golden retrievers. She said to go ahead and book and never mentioned additional fees. |Hours after check in I received a rude message that I was 1 dog over and was billed another $30. Which honestly I would not have had a problem with paying a pet fee but the rude message was unacceptable. At that point I felt unwelcome and I felt I was being accused of being deceitful which I clearly was not. I did not sleep well because I was upset and frankly it ruined our stay. We left in the morning and the office was not open and the host has not replied to my multiple messages. I do not feel it is right that a host can charge hidden fees after check in and ruin someone’s stay. When I made a complaint to Vrbo they contacted the h

Nice rooms, recently renovated. Easy walk to town, boardwalk and city park across the street. Great fishing pier on the waterfront with rental kayaks and water tours. Quiet coastal community. Second floor rooms have nice views (#227 pictured). Plenty of free parking.

The room was clean.. the bedding was fresh and comfortable.. the bathroom was nice and clean. The wifi was horrible and the staff was powerless to do anything about it. Very frustrating with no way to communicate with my family back home. The TV also didn't work because the internet was not working. And the drink machine for vending was out of service. I will not stay there in Cedar Key again. Surely there is a place in Cedar Key that provides better amenities.

This review is for room 331. I love it! It's comfortable, cozy, and well decorated. My family and I enjoy it's homey feel. The bed in the loft bedroom is great and the fold out couch in the living room is surprisingly comfortable. Both chairs in the living room are very comfortable recliners. The view from the balcony of 331 is one of my favorites in Cedar Key. It overlooks the playground, lovely city park (Christmas lights during the season are beautiful) and you can see the ocean, marina, and down 2nd Street. Bonus: the bakery is right next door to Park Place. Get yourself something delicious and get back on that balcony! 😁

Recently stayed in the room 331 with my girl and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The room was clean with a great view, stayed at a comfortable temperature, and was decorated perfectly for Cedar Key. Hopefully I’ll be able to stay again very soon
