The three Tudor-style guest units on the southern corner of Ocean Avenue and Camino Real Street were built by owner Maude Arndt in the mid-1920s. Arndt, who had a fondness for the fairy tale character Peter Pan, was one in a long line of Carmel’s residents, as well as female builders.
