Pepper Tree Motel

The rooms are pretty foul, and include such features as black mould growing in the shower, roaches who will make their presence known as soon as you shut the lights off, graffiti and carvings in a variety of locations, and a carpet so dirty you'll almost certainly want to keep your shoes on at all times. Amenities include; two bars of soap, Wi-Fi that doesn't exist or does not work, and the very real possibility that you might be woken up in the middle of the night by the LAPD SWAT team dealing with one of the other guests at the motel. All that being said, chances are that if you are the kind of person who is looking for a room in a motel like this chances are pretty high that you don't really care about any of the things I've mentioned above. My sister rented a room and the manager wife walked in my sister room uninvited and started yelling at her because she thought she sneaked into the room. But she had a key rented the room for the night. She realized she was wrong and didn't apologize to her. She said she will never give them the business again.

The atmosphere is as expected for the area. The room was something fun I've never experienced. It just seemed to have that haunted feel here but in very entertaining amusing way. Surely I could have gone to western or wherever else but this place has its charm. I had wondered what intriguing people stayed here as old as it is. Sure its run down but the guy running the place nice and pleasant. The price a little high but it was interesting. Bed was clean and clean sheets personally is my priority since well your here to sleep. It is private and was pretty quiet. Definitely some cool ghosts here. I felt happy giddy here.

Worst hotel in North Hollywood. The rooms are old and smell. The furniture is old like 50 years old and something you pick up on the side of the road, the goodwill got better furniture. No cable not even basic cable, TV is as small as a laptop. No microwave or mini fridge. No phone as well. And yet they have the odasity to charge $100 a night, clearly taking advantage during this pandemic. They should be reported to the Health Department. Front desk speaks no english and clearly does not understand when spoken to. Every where else was sold out and had no choice. I did upload photos and hopefully they stay up and for some reason not all photos where posted. Trust me this is worse than skid row and I would NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO STAY HERE. JUST HORRIBLE!!!

I Don't know why but many places on Lankershim U cannot see their addresses at night and this place is no different...Thank God I noticed the name, so I pulled in looking for my friends room that I thought was near the back as I glossed the doors but it was midway and upstairs...This place has covered and uncovered parking which was clean and spaces were not tight like some...I basically parked underneath the room which was cool...got upstairs to the room there was a closet and a short hallway to the room and it was clean and the bed was made with a window overlooking parking lot..the bathroom had a shower soon as U walk inside it and psst that was the sink with a decent mirror then at the end of the wall a nice size window and clean toilet.. the room overall was very clean nice setup chai
