Lexen Hotel - North Hollywood Universal Studios

Loved this hotel! It was absolutely adorable. The rooms were spacious with cool features such as a brick wall, shutters and a platform bed. My only complaint is that the there was not a lot of lighting in the room. My husband was attempting to iron his shirt at dusk, and there was no overhead lighting, so he had to rely on the little lamps. On the flip side, in the morning, the shutters do not keep much light out, so the room was very bright very early. The parking garage was also pretty small, and we were fearful we would not be able to find a space. We ended up squeezing in to a compact space next to a giant, lifted truck that should not have parked in compact as a last resort. Even with the lighting and parking issues we will definitely stay here again. Next time we plan to stay longer

Location: universal studio 30 min including walking and 1 station on Metro. Hollywood blw - 20min by metro. Service: 24hours juice, tea, coffee. Free Breakfast at 9.30 oat meal, muffins and fruits - excellent. 24 hours concierge. Number: clean, modern style. Everything convenient. For same money you can take maximum 2* hotel. Staff very friendly can assist you with any question. Best choice for vacation.

From the moment we entered the hotel, it smelled wonderful. The room was extremely clean, the décor was beautiful, and the bed was very comfortable. It was a great stay in a perfect location, especially for going to Universal Studios. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service. If I ever come back, I would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Los Angeles Hollywood near Universal Studios.

Nice little hidden hotel in Noho Arts District area. The rooms were spacious and clean for our little family of four.. The bathroom and showers were clean. The only complaints is the shower head that was not pushing out any water, seems like hard water build up, and the front door with no weather strip as cold air leaked in. There’s plenty of food places, but not walking distance. It’s across the street from the Noho park, a few homeless in the park, but that’s just California. Construction going on across the street, but didn’t bug us because we were up before they started working. Night time was very quiet, you might get a police siren. Here on business and this was a great location with easy access to freeways to get around LA. Love the vibe of the room, spacious, super comfy bed. The morning oatmeal and endless coffee was a a nice touch! All the staff were so nice which can make a huge difference to a stay. A special shout out to Anzor who was very helpful. Looks like I've found my new hotel next time I'm back in LA--such a gem of a place!
