Hampton Inn by Hilton North Hollywood

Newly renovated after being taken over by Hilton, this is a nice hotel. Close to Universal Studios, LA and the Valley. Clean with friendly service. Parking is underground and seems safe. Bed was comfortable and AC worked great. No real complaints.

From the moment we arrived and were greeted by a very pleasant young man, everything went well! My husband has heart problems and can't walk very far, so he found a room close to the elevator, and a handicap parking space for us ( my husband has a placard). It worked out very well. The room was cool and we rested comfortably. Breakfast was much heartier than we've seen elsewhere. We chose omelets with hashbrowns , and decaf coffee. The kitchen area was spotless, and 2 young women kept everything well stocked! There were a lot of people there with young children and we noticed that there were items at breakfast that they loved.....lots of happy munching going on! We only stayed one night because the relatives we went to visit have to go back to work on Monday, but we are looking forward

I travel a lot! We came here for universal studios. First time here! Oct 13-16, just myself and my little girl. We felt safe!! Clean room, clean establishment, free breakfast (standard continental that's at most hotels). Parking is in the garage under the building I believe it was $15 a night but I forgot exact amount. We stayed for 3 nights. They have a small convenient store area for snacks or things you might have forgot to pack. Across the street is a Dennys, a shelll gas station and a McDonald's. The hotel is easy to get in and out of and right off the road. It's a 15 min drive to the park. We took uber/lyft.. (those rides averaged $15-22. Parking at the park was $35 a day, so it kind of evens out and I didn't want to worry about driving in the traffick around the park. It wa

This was a perfectly nice hotel. My family enjoyed the (modestly) heated outdoor pool. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly and attentive. It seems it might be in a bit of rougher neighborhood, but they had a security guard in the lobby and an underground parking where we were totally comfortable. Highly recommended if you destination is near here.

Visited USH and enjoyed staying at this hotel. The staff was wonderful, very well run place. Room was clean and comfortable, with everything working like it should and ice cold AC. The pool is nice and seems well|maintained. They do charge for parking( this is LA). $15 a day is actually a deal here. And it’s self park, no valet, which I prefer. Garage is beneath hotel and seems secure. SUVs and most trucks should fit. Breakfast is pretty respectable. They even put out omelettes some days rather than just scrambled eggs. Would stay again. The area around the hotel isn’t bad, not the greatest either. We felt completely safe, always security in the lobby from what I can see and they lock the doors at night so you have to use a keycard to enter.
