Edgewater Beach Resort

We recently stayed here for a week and found it to be one of the best oceanfront resorts on the Cape. All units are finished to a high standard. There was an option to upgrade to a 2 bedroom for a reasonable rate as it was available and were more than pleased with the space. The beds were comfortable and the view was spectacular! The staff were wonderful! We mainly interacted with Youlanda and Aidan who were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. A lovely woman often greeted us and other guests outdoors, offering to help if we needed. A most gracious staff. The hot tub and pool were wonderful amenities, particularly with snow falling while relaxing in the hot tub. All spaces were immaculate. Had the most magical, amazing, white Hallmark Christmas stay at the Edgewater Beach Resort. The staff was so helpful and accommodating. I would love to stay there again some day!!!

The room is very nice, proximity to the beach is convenient, and the available amenities are well kept. The reasons I have for 4 stars instead of 5 are: We arrived after a nine hour drive, tired and ready to check in, and were very curtly told "You can't stay here." by the front desk. This was all just because my wife's name wasn't the first name on the account, but the third. The timeshare representative even backed up that we were, in fact, part of the account. We showed our reservation confirmation and suddenly the front desk woman's demeanor changed, but why was it so ugly in the first place? Assuming the worst of us as if we were somehow trying to scam a room started our experience off in a negative way. I mean, is that an actual problem they deal with often enough to default to assu

This is a motel, not a hotel. Rooms are OK, missing some basics like a regular window shades, but offers a great view sunsets and fabulous amenities. Mostly enjoyable in summer though. No room service while we stayed

Everything good except for room set up in regards to nextdoor unit. Bedroom of each unit is back to back with each other. I could hear the couple next door talking in bed. A horrible feeling!
