Peachtree Suites

UNSANITARY AND UNSAFE. I had a very disappointing stay at Peachtree Suites. The room had no hot water in the shower despite freezing temperatures, the shower hardware was broken, and the shower door barely moved. I also found hair on EVERY single towel and even on the bedding. That’s a pattern of lack of sanitation. The biggest concern was security — when I accidentally tried the wrong room, my door code opened another guest’s door. That should never happen in a hotel… I checked out early due to these issues and had to repeatedly follow up (3 calls and 1 email) just to get documentation of a refund. They never actually issued me a refund , and can’t even provide me with an ARN proving they did. Gross scammers stay away. I reported them for all their violations.

The staff was so accommodating. The location was perfectly located for buses and journal square, the room was spotless and gave us so much space. There were grocery stores, a dollar tree, and food all on the same block making for an easy walk to stock up when we were there during a snow storm. Booking the Peachtree was a great choice for our stay!

Good: Room was clean and near the PATH. Extra pillows and a blanket were in the room. The stove, microwave, and full sized fridge/freezer all appeared to be working. Bathroom was clean and shower was hot. Moderately priced for the area. ||Meh: The King Studio that was advertised for 3 adults had only a full bed and a small loveseat with a pop out footrest that was maybe good for a child. No sheets provided for the loveseat. Door didn’t automatically lock and had no deadbolt. No parking onsite and PATH parking was closed. Only entrance is located on a street this is very torn up from construction, nowhere to unload luggage from a car. Several items needed repair: no handle on freezer, towel bar coming off the wall, some light bulbs needed replacing, etc. Iron but no ironing board?

Room and building were clean. No probs at all. Walking distance to the PATH trains to New York. Security codes to get in the front door. No parking though. We parked in the Journal Square secure garage which is where we catch the train. Will stay here again for sure.

Great location next to journal sq. I parked at the station and walked over here. Rooms are large with a kitchen. Locks were hard to work which could be worrisome. To get in you are relying on someone being at the front desk. Over decent.
