Some rooms are right outta the 50s/60s 😁, #7 has pink tiled bathroom and shower 😍, has a really nice Sauna too, and the staff is very friendly and quickly respond to any questions or needs, while the rooms are dated, they are very clean. My King size bed should be replaced 😔.

This is a small family run motel. The rooms were very clean, good size for one or two people, nice bathroom (no tub). Excellent parking right out side the door. Mini fridge and cable TV, just what I needed. Coffee shop down the block, along with the Dairy Queen. On a main street but still not disruptive of my sleep.

We needed a place on short notice as our BWCA trip got cut a day short because of weather. I got a room with a good bed. After 6 days of sleeping in a sleeping bag this was a welcomed sight. Shower was nice and hot. Close enough to DQ and the liquor store to make jaunts easy. Parking was easy and you are three to five minutes away from just about everything in Ely. Staff was welcoming and friendly even though I smelled after being on the water for several days. Is it a luxurious downtown hotel you find in a large city? No. Is it a great place to stay before or after canoeing? Yes

Owners were very friendly and accommodated me with a room on short notice. The beds were tidy, room was very clean and had all the amenities you’d hope to find. All for a VERY reasonable price. Retro motel full of charm. I hope to come back soon.

This was a cute motel that's very well maintained. It doesn't like anything has changed since the 60's/70's, yet looks so fresh and smells clean. Comfortable beds, great shower and seating for 2 in the living/sleeping area! Very affordable and on the main strip for easy access to everything in town. Even with it's central location, there was not a lot of traffic noise. Owner is local with lots of knowledge of the area. Will definitely stay again when we go backto Ely!
