We had a great stay at this campsite! The site is very wide, offering plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the outdoors. It has a beautiful view of the lake and there's a nice trail just a short walk away—perfect for a peaceful stroll or exploring nature. Site 102 we weren’t told ahead of time that the power hookup would be shared, so make sure to bring at least a 25-foot extension cord. Also, the ground is a bit soft and the site sits about 6 inches off level, so come prepared with leveling blocks or pads. Overall, a great spot with scenic surroundings—would definitely stay here again with just a little extra prep.

4.5 stars. RV camped at site 23-fairly level, shaded, close to bathrooms & dog beach. No trails- went to Aspen Park in Gaylord & Elk Park. Awesome beach on Ostego Lake easily walkable from campsite.

Peaceful, beautiful park. Saw eagles and a fox. The trail wasn’t apparent in the snow, but plenty of space to roam.

Great park. Beautiful lake. Campground has 2 beaches, nice boat ramps, along with a fishing dock. Swimming area was well maintained. Showers need a little maintenance.

A very pleasant little State Park located on if course Ostego Lake. The view is spectacular. When you drive in the beach is in front of you and is very nice. However what you can't see right away is there are no dogs allowed on that beach. Which we were told off by the staff. However it turns out they do have a Dog Beach. The bad news is, it is horribly labeled. Signs don't cost that much how about a little help! Anyways you follow the path North from the parking lot, starting behind the Bathrooms. You'll walk about a half mile and finally see the one sign Dog Beach with an arrow down the stairs. Once you get down the stairs you immediately see a sign that says no dogs on Beach, that's it. So you continue going North and about a quarter to a third of a mile down you'll see a dog baggy stat
