Lake Park Cabins (formerly DerMiner's Parkside Resort)

Wonderful place with great views of sunset on the dock. Close to everything. While there is a small walk down a hill to the dock with no beach, a 1/2 mile down the road are large sandy beaches in the state park. Nice attentive owners,if you need anything We will definitely stay here on our next visit to Gaylord.

So I grew up in these cabins there were know as King's Cottage . My grandparents were the owners for 50 plus years . I have to say they would be so happy that someone is keeping up and has improved what they started. Yes sometimes there is no beach but it depends on when you go. The hill this person said was not talked about you can see in the picture. I remember as kid there was just rocks as steps and then my uncle and grandpa finally got around putting in stairs when I was older.. I don't know why people don't look hard and then want to complain about everything.

Not as described online. Beach is a joke, it just isn't there. If you want to use the canoe, you have to carry it down a steep almost cliff. Had to keep children away from hill that does not show on website. Docks are not what is on website either. Cabins are buggy. Owners power washing their equipment while I am paying for a quiet stay. At check out owner could not even come out of the office and ask how our stay was, or thank us for renting 2 cabins for the week.

We rented cabin 3 this weekend and we were very pleased with the comfort and cleanliness of the cabin, and the beautiful lake view. The owners were very kind and very accommodating
