Open Gate Motel

This place is beyond disgusting. Filthy floors with dirt accumulated in the corners. The bathrooms have mold and mildew all over the shower. Towels are more like frayed rags. The AC are window units from the last century coated in dirt. Going to get my tetanus shot tomorrow.

My sister came to Florida from up north and needed a cheap place to stay for a few nights. She chose this motel. When I went to visit, it was an awful mess. Dirty, Disheveled, and has the look that homeless take refuge here. ||||I am not exaggerating. It truly seems like a halfway house of people transitioning.||||If you are vacationing, go elsewhere, even if your on an uber tight budget, just keep looking.

Having a 1 night stay, at this local motel. Great location. With a bus that move from downtown to the university mall seems to run every 15 mins. Walls of the room are thin, but that’s to be expected. Room has microwave and mini fridge. Standard. Next to the bed between the bed and the table is very spacious. Pillows leave much shouldn’t be desired bed is soft however. But for 85$ it’s simple if you need a night to get away. Service team card reader was down due to network issues. The shop next door has a ATM 3$ flat fee for withdraw.

Hello all, there was a girl who stayed here last year around late March 2024 in room 7. Her name was Nikki and she was found dead in that room. I’m trying to find any information on how she passed if anyone has heard please message me.

Quiet area. AC needs replaced and walls painted but no bugs.
