Omni Charlotte Hotel

We made our reservation on October 14, 2025, for a stay on March 3, 2026 at the Omni Charlotte Hotel specifically because it is within walking distance of the Spectrum Center, where the Charlotte Hornets were playing at 7:00 p.m. tonight. We were traveling in from Raleigh and intentionally chose this location for the convenience of being close to the game. Upon arrival, we were informed that the hotel had been overbooked and that our reservation had been canceled. We were never notified in advance. Instead, we were told they had arranged a room for us at a Hyatt property approximately 20 minutes away. As you can imagine, this was incredibly frustrating. Loved our stay!!! Omni is my favorite hotel chain thanks to the fabulous one in Minnesota (Vikings Lake) so we are on a mission to get to all of the Omni’s!!!!!! We spent thanksgiving week here and for my birthday. We originally got put into room 323 but it overlooked the pool area which is currently under construction and not a very nice view. We called down and they quickly moved us to room 923 which was the same lovely corner room as our first one. We now had a beautiful view of downtown Charlotte. Bathroom was large and spacious and everything was great. Beds are comfortable, everything seems new and modern. Staff was friendly. We enjoyed the check in areas vibe and the fresh water they had! Positive: Great location. Nice staff. Negative: There was no full length mirror in the room. There wasn?t even a half mirror. It was my birthday weekend & it was difficult to get dressed that way. Tight space between the dresser and the wall to get to the bathroom. Ice machine on my floor didn?t work

Our stay at the Omni Hotel in North Carolina was absolutely amazing from the moment we arrived until the time we checked out. Everything exceeded our expectations. Ms.Dominique at the front desk truly stood out. She made us feel genuinely welcomed and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional. We were celebrating my daughter’s 16th birthday, and Dominique took the time to acknowledge her, which made my daughter feel so special and made the experience even more memorable. The city view was absolutely beautiful and added to the overall experience. We also want to give a special thank-you to Joe, who assisted us with our luggage, answered all of our questions, and made our stay even smoother. My son and I had a boys night out and decided on this hotel for one night. We made a good decision as the room was huge, clean. Staff at front desk were super friendly and helpful. Thanks for the wonderful experience. Can't wait to return.
