OceanCliff Hotel

I recently stayed at OceanCliff Hotel in Newport and had a lovely experience overall. The ocean views are absolutely stunning and the property itself is beautiful, especially if you enjoy peaceful coastal scenery. The location along Ocean Drive makes it feel like a true getaway while still being close to downtown Newport. The staff was welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. The room was clean and comfortable, though a few small updates could make it even better. Overall, it’s a charming spot with incredible views and a relaxing atmosphere. I would definitely return and recommend it for a scenic Newport stay!

We booked this place late in the season as we needed a place to overnight before taking the ferry to Block Island the next morning. This is definitely a wedding venue but we enjoyed our brief stay! We arrived on a Tuesday and the Safari room was not open and it was very quiet. The quiet was greatly appreciated after a long hot drive from Maine in crazy New England traffic. The views are amazing, the room was clean, comfortable and nicely appointed. The staff was fantastic! It's less than a mile walk from Brenton Point state park for even more amazing views. The front desk did indeed have all that we needed including a bottle opener/corkscrew :) |I highly recommend!

We got married at OC on Jan 31 and cannot say enough great things about the AMAZING event team. Allison and Rei (day of coordinator) were absolutely fantastic to work with. 11/10 recommend!

Just had my wedding at Oceancliff this past weekend and it was everything. When they say dream wedding.. they truly provide you that. From the very beginning with Amanda and working with Alison on the final steps.. it has been phenomenal to work with them. Hotel staff was amazing (shoutout to Stephen.. the best). Really took care of our family and went above and beyond. OC Coordinator - Reidyn.. thank you will never be enough. She was a superstar and added so many sweet touches. I can write a novel on how amazing she was. The food was out of this world. I’m still getting text from guests on how amazing everything was. Our daughter had her wedding at OceanCliff this past weekend and it exceeded our wildest dreams!! The whole property and view are gorgeous!! The staff and service are beyond compare!! The food was delicious both at the wedding reception and at the brunch the next day!! Every single detail was done beautifully and went without a hitch!!
