Northwoods Inn & Suites

Great little hotel in a small town. Rooms were better than I expected. Owner went out of his way for our 4am check in due to plane delay. Best location if you are going to Minnesota North or the Boy Scout Base Camp. I recommend it and will stay there again.

This is not a 4 or 5 star establishment, however, for price, cleanliness, professionalism/service, it definitely earns the rating. Breakfast was sparse, but doable - oddest eggs I have ever seen. Carpets in hallways could use a touch up cleaning. A slim sliver of soap -no shampoos or washes grace your bath BUT plenty of clean towering and a spotless bathroom. Great black out curtains, bedding clean. A/C worked well. And, quiet. Would absolutely stay here again. (PS for us a plus was no pets and no smoking!)

This place was clean and reasonably priced. Hot breakfast every morning for free which was nice. It was reasonable however, staying 3 nights, I do wish they served different type of breakfast. It was the same thing every day. Staff were friendly, were attentive to refilling breakfast items, and cleaned/tidied up the room every morning. Rooms were accommodating. 2 queen beds, a sink outside the bathroom, a TV, microwave, mini fridge and two chairs with a desk. Our room was on the street side so the street can be a little loud. Beds were not great but also not terrible. They need to be updated though. I would've rated a 4 star if the beds were more comfortable, more variety for breakfast, and lastly, a few sugar ants were found in our room every morning and every night. Just a few. Two by

Nice owners I believe help us out in a pinch super nice and friendly. Overall the hotels good and nice and clean rooms. Definitely in town I'd stay here again great location and updated threw out.
