🌊 Newport Marriott – 5-Star Review ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you’re planning a stay in Newport, the Newport Marriott is an absolute must — a five-star experience from start to finish! From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with warmth, professionalism, and a level of service that truly sets this hotel apart. The location is unbeatable — right on the waterfront with breathtaking views of Newport Harbor. Whether you’re sipping your morning coffee or enjoying a sunset stroll, the scenery here feels picture-perfect at every turn. The rooms are beautifully appointed, spacious, and designed with both comfort and style in mind. You’ll sleep soundly on plush bedding and wake up feeling refreshed with panoramic water views that make your stay feel extra special. What really elevates this hotel, though
We had a spectacular experience at the Newport Marriott Hotel & Spa. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel truly cared for—especially Ted at the front desk, who went above and beyond to make our brief stay after our wedding feel incredibly special. The rooms were spotless, well maintained, and offered beautiful water views that made our stay even more memorable. We also enjoyed a couples massage at the spa and left feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated. An exceptional experience all around. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind and celebrate such a meaningful moment.
We just returned from an overnight stay at the Newport Marriott. We loved our time there. Hotel is conveniently located to Bowens Wharf and Thames Street and there is also the bus line nearby which we used to go to The Breakers. Onsite restaurant and bar are very good. Rooms are quiet, clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again!
The restaurant has beautiful views and they have a flavour-added water machine. The bed is comfortable. But staff arranged us a very far room which takes more than 3 mins walk to get to the room.
Staff at the front desk were very friendly and informative. Great gym! Breakfast buffet was great. Loved that they had water bottle filling stations throughout the hotel. Wife and I had a couples massage at the spa and it was wonderful! Based on other reviews, I made sure we had an exterior room view, if not your view can be the hallway or the lobby. I am a Platinum Elite member and called ahead and was able to make sure I was able to get a room with an exterior view. The lounge was closed but I was given $10 credit for restaurant/bar and also free breakfast vouchers. They also give free wine/beer tasting coupons for the Newport Vineyard/Winery; we took advantage of that as well. Self parking was free, assuming since it was offseason; didn't have to pay for the valet fee. Based o
