New Horizon Motel

Some of the kindest people I have ever met. The staff is absolutely wonderful. My husband and I have stayed there many times. I would recommend this place to anyone

I wasn't expecting much from this motel because of the way it looked on the outside. It's a little run down. I just needed a simple place to sleep. But what took disturbed me was when I pulled the covers back on the bed, there was urine on the bed sheets along with other stains, and hair on the pillows! And there was urine on the toilet seat! They have a sign posted that says, "No refunds after check in." I wonder why? Because they don't clean the rooms or change the beds? I ended up sleeping in my car that night. Don't stay at this nasty motel!

If you are vacationing or visitors to this area this is NOT a place you would want to stay.The pictures online, the friendly corporate messages you get during booking nor the pricing reflect what is real. I encourage you to press zero and actually speak to the staff before booking. I live in the area and have had many encounters with this place for various reasons(I work supportively with a particular clientele that frequents this establishment) and lets just say, the management is less than pleasant and part of the problems of the area. The environment caters to a particular marginalized group who nèeds help but this place only makes things worse.

The check in experience was good however the check out experience was not so good very room and they took 10.00 of my deposit because there was washable hair dye on a towel when we know that towel was no more then 5.00 but was also just very rude

I love this place. I have stayed here so many times (due to a unhealthy relationship that was way past its expiration date) and every time I checked in the ladies in the office always lifted my spirits and made me feel safe and cozy and welcome. It meant the world to me and honestly gave me what I needed to pull myself together, and get on my feet again. It's clean and cozy and I would much rather spend money to stay here with real caring people that truly look out for your well being, rather than spend it at some other big chain motel where the bed might be nicer, but the people are hollow and the smiles are fake. The New horizon owner ladies are my awesome angels, and any rating any less than that is incorrect information
