Federal Way Motel

TLDR: rude front desk person Person at the front desk asked for the ids of everyone staying at the motel and told me that she made photocopies of them, which I thought was weird, because I’ve never experienced that before. I came in a group of 6 ppl, so she thought that they were all staying at the motel. Even after I explained that 2 of us were staying with friends in the area, she was still deeply suspicious of us and even called the room to ask us when we were leaving and quoted us some BS number for extra guests.

This was the only motel that was not full one weekend night at 1am. ||The first room I got was likely remodeled, and it was very comfortable, it was directly above the office. It was very clean and I came to stay here 3 more times subsequently, until I found better deals. ||Pros|1. The rooms are well maintained |2. The RapidRide bus stop going southbound towards the Federal Way Transit center is located in front of this motel and a car place. |3. I felt safe here and slept well.|4. The showers and bathroom were Clean.||Cons|1. No continental breakfast |2. Depending on the room, you'll either get a nice remodeled room or an outdated, but clean room. |3. Sometimes they don't give you the advertised ($40/night) price. I believe they took that sign down now. ||Overall, I liked my stays here.

Horrible and rude lady she is crazy my friend had a room there and I was walking up to kick it with him and she told me to leave no visitors like I was come criminal.... don't ever go here that lady is a horrible owner don't know how people would even wanna stay here

We were heading over the pass to Ellensburg around 4pm and the rain was horrible and it was bumper to bumper from Everett to Federal Way, where I decided to stay put and do the pass another day. We rolled into FW around 6:30 pm. I found Motel up the street from where we ate. This was about 8:30 by then. The "lobby" was actually the sidewalk. The lady's face might have cracked if she smiled. I give her $100 and off we go. The best thing was the bed, heater and TV. Needed wifi pw but phone in room wasn't reaching her. The fridge was very small and our ice cream melted. The curtains certainly have seen better days. The bathroom was very small. One Bathtowell for 2 people. One hand towel and no bath mat. They didn't have shampoo, conditioner or soap. Beds we're cozy, room is outdated ,but had a nice flat screen TV. There were 6 kids n 2 adults and there were only 2 big towels, two cute size soap bars and didn't want to drink the water. The manager was nice n had a sense of humor, he saved us when all other hotels were full. Thank you.
