Courtyard by Marriott Seattle Federal Way

Came to tacoma/seattle for a weekend getaway with my honey. At check in the general manager did us a solid and upgraded us to a room with a jacuzzi tub and an awesome view on the highest floor(my fave)! We were grateful they made us feel very welcomed. Our "Valentines getaway" was great. The location is awesome too we didnt have to go very far to get what we needed there was shopping, food and even the Kpop Demon hunters Ramen that my kids have been wanting for quite some time. Hotel smells clean and the room was delightful definitely would choose this location again. Thanks again General Manager and staff!!!

Stayed for three nights for a friend's 75th birthday party. Got a room facing away from the freeway on a higher floor. When you get in the elevator, you need to press your room key to activate which is a nice safety feature. I'm a very light sleeper and this was probably one of the quietest rooms I've stayed in with 20 years of various Marriott properties. Yes they charge for parking but parking is convenient and close to the hotel. This hotel is ringed by lots of restaurants (Red Robin, an Indian place etc) and shops so things are convenient. Safeway is about 8 minutes away. The pool is nice and except for one night with screaming teenagers doing front flips off the side (yikes) I was the only one using it. The breakfast we chose which was not included could feed us for three meals it

Positive: (1) Clean(2) Friendly staff(3) Convenient location for our trip's purpose, i.e., location off of the freeway in Federal Way, proximity to destination in Auburn(4) Various places to eat that are within close proximity Negative: -High Price -B'Fast not included-No Safe in room-Daily charges for parking, incl handicap parking. Also charged for parking when there was no spots due to an event. Attendees did not have paid receipts.-Two bottles of free water only on first day

Nice comfortable rooms, with comfortable bed. The staff was friendly and attentive. The only thing is the room layout is different than most hotels so that was a bit odd.

Went in October 2025. Not a bad hotel. They have sofas in the hotel room with pretty good beds. It is close to a big area with many retail stores. It’s overall not a bad place to stay near Seattle.
