National 9 Casper (Showboat)

This is like a little golden nugget, I've passed this place several times during my travels but never stayed, I thought that's kind of cheesy, a riverboat. Well me and my wife stayed there last night and it was great, Kimberly the front desk clerk very friendly, very helpful, and made sure that we had all that we needed. Shower's very nice and hot. Rooms very comfortable. Very quiet, lots of pillows for the bed. My wife loved the bar of soaps, about 6 different fragrances that you can choose from, of course we chose them all and took them with us 😀 I can't say enough about this place I rate it a 9 out of 10 Kimberly I rate a 10 out of 10 thank you so much Kimberly.

We booked with Trip Advisor. Based on the pictures it appeared to be in better shape than we experienced. At check in they were not very courteous. Cleanliness and maintenance needs improvement. Not much to speak of for breakfast. Even the coffee was not good. Spend a little more and make a better choice than we did.

Positive: Clean room, comfortable bed, good location. Negative: Parking was a little tight.

MOUSE POOP UNDER PILLOW!! DO NOT STAY HERE. We needed a place to sleep for a few hours when traveling last minute and didn’t want to pay ridiculous prices, so we saw this place had average reviews for about $75 and decided to stay here. The room seemed fairly clean at first, but there were cigarette burns on one bed (in a non smoking room) and there was mouse feces on the floor in the bathroom as well as UNDER THE PILLOWS ON OUR BED. It was late and we needed a place to sleep, so we layed towels on the bed and used our coats as pillows and slept at the foot of the bed. I called to complain the next day and they didn’t seem to care, and told me I needed to call Expedia since we booked through them. I tried calling Expedia and they’re nearly impossible to get ahold of, so I’m not confident

Staff was very kind throughout my stay. I feel the nightly rate is a bit high but they do have a good weekly rates. The matteresses are in good condition. Rooms are a bit dated. Otherwise, I really enjoyed my time. Thank you also for keeping smoking rooms on the property. There aren't many smoking rooms but just the fact that they are available was wonderful. Good breakfast options.
