Mountain Creek South Lodge

Went to Mountain Creek (South Lodge entrance). It’s convenient because it’s closer to the parking lot and you don’t have to climb up and down like the main entrance. However, the overall experience was disappointing. It was too warm that day, and the snow conditions were poor. The entrance area had large puddles of water. I wouldn’t recommend this mountain for beginners. The beginner lift lines were extremely long, and one of the lifts requires taking off your skis to load. The advanced trails had shorter lines but were very short runs — about two minutes to the bottom. The lifts themselves are outdated and uncomfortable, with no proper footrests. Good location with plenty of snow. Food was decent. Kink restaurant Service was non existent as we only received our initial drinks on a timely manner. Nachos were weird and I do not recommend.

Kinks bar and restaurant is excellent. The staff is very accommodating and the service is excellent. I have had Victoria and Hayden several times as servers and each time both of them were very attentive to our needs. The menu is very good and the drinks are very good as well. The Mac and cheese is the best around. If you ski or board at South, stop by Kinks upstairs and enjoy great food, excellent service and good drinks. Skied there yesterday, pretty good conditions. Our server at Kinks was Nicole, she was excellent. Always attentive,served the food hot and engaged in pleasant conversation. A good place to eat and relax.

Huge parking lot and even a helicopter pad and some medical facilities right there. The lodge is decent with a little shop and some food and a bar. They have a snack area that looked kind of lame and I do have to vent about ticketing. Apparently it's only online tickets now which is fine because I did get my triple play online, but then I got there and there was no clear indication where to go to get my Triple Play activated. I walked around looking for any sign about ticketing or customer service and didn't see anything. So eventually I had to go back to my car and drive to Vernon peak. I still don't know the real answer, but I think you are supposed to just find a person in an orange jacket and they can just do your ticket transaction without a desk or a kiosk or anything because that's

My family and I spent the day snowboarding and skiing at Mountain Creek, and we had a wonderful time! The slopes were great, and the lift lines moved quickly, so we never had to wait long. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was the cozy fire pit area, which was perfect for warming up between runs. The food and beverage options were also up to par, providing a satisfying selection to refuel throughout the day. Overall, Mountain Creek exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and well-organized winter adventure. We will definitely be returning!
