Minerals Hotel

We traveled from Delaware beaches for our first stay and we have the most wonderful time. The room was great, we loved the hot springs pool!! The buffet breakfast was super nice, didn’t have to wait in line considering the large amount of people that showed! The snow made our stay even better. Can’t say enough about Kevin the bartender at Kites!! We also loved Jason at Frosty’s Cantina, these guys were top notch!! We will definitely be back and plan to bring more of our family to enjoy the resort. Thank you for providing this awesome experience

My family and I stayed at Minerals recently. Pros: Lots of activities for kids Gorgeous swimming pools Staff were very nice Room was clean Cons: The beds were hard as rocks Credit card fee of 3.5% No microwave Expensive food Noisy Halls We had a great time, but school was out so it was packed. The pools were packed with kids and we could not get reservations for rock climbing until the last day. We also got a $40 breakfast credit which you can use at the café. The dinner and show was a lot of fun, but not sure if it was worth it. Overall, it was a fun time but crowded with kids and hard to sleep with noise. The food was very expensive so it is best to travel nearby for restaurants. If you come here, expect to spend a lot. I did not appreciate the 3.5% credit card fee for a big reso

This is the second time I've been to this hotel, the first time being 4 years ago. They have made a number of improvements which was a pleasant surprise - including the gym and the addition of an arcade. Overall the stay was pleasant and I had a good time. The reason for my 3-stars is the issue of charges and payment types. When checking in, we are notified that we can save the credit card surcharge for all purchases sent to the room, including the room itself, if paying by debit. We had no problem doing that. Then, every charge we racked up, we noticed two things: 1) We never are given a receipt to keep track of, and 2) Credit card surcharges are automatically added to the bill on the assumption you are paying that way. This hotel is not modern, or accessible. The fixtures are all from 2003, and the two elevators are SO SLOW. The hotel has clearly not been updated in over 20 years. The pool would have been nice if it wasn't literally full of kids who's parents werent watching them, including in the hot tubs. There is no adult swim. This is not a classy nice pool. It's a glorified kids play place. Great place for families who need a cheap vacation. If your an adult who wants to relax, go to crystal springs instead.

This is the 3rd time we have been back. The resort is wonderful. They hot springs are amazing and relaxing. Love the Kites restaurant the food was better than ever. My only disappointment is the restaurant can not accommodate the size of the resort and either they need another restaurant at The Minerals or to expand capacity. They do accommodate with takeout or room service. The staff is especially courteous, accommodating and especially friendly. I like to especially give a shout out to the front desk at Checkin Felix and Rachel we’re so very friendly and helpful made our check in quick smooth and very easy, at checkout Mia was friendly and also quick and all smiled and said ThankYou!!! They deserve a ThankYou from management for Great Job Done. I hope to see them next time!!!!
