Mountain Creek Snow Tubing

What a waste of money. $50? This should be free. How many times can you go up and down the same route over and over again? 4 max and you are done. So boring. They decided to have a burn pit right next to the slide, you better be lucky the wind doesn't blow towards that side, otherwise you smelling it while going up the ramp. Want hot coffee or tea? Shlep your way to the top for 15 minutes. Never again. Stay away. Embarrassing attraction.

This was my third time coming here as a sort of tradition with my kid. Today I was disappointed in several ways. First, in the number of people they allowed to purchase tickets. It was packed. Second, there were children that were throwing snowballs at other people (strangers) as they were going down the mountain and wrestling each other while bumping into other patrons. This behavior was just tolerated, even after another paying customer complained to the staff. Third, the staff. For the first hour, every time I got close enough, they were complaining about how much they did not like working there. Everyone on line just paid 50 dollars to show their kids a good time. We do not need to listen to that. Training can be improved. Finally, the lift broke after our first ride up the lift. This

$55 for 2hr snowtubing ticket, divided by a total of 5 rides (because of crowd & slow line processing - they could have gone twice as fast easily), so that's $11 per 30 second ride. Value for the money 3/10

Overall a very fun and memorable experience! Unfortunately, the staff were preoccupied with talking to each other and goofing off more than interacting with guests. There were times at the top of the slope they were too busy talking to each other that they missed signals from the crew at the bottom. A young child once had to remind the staff that the signal was ok to go down. Again, I had a very fun time and nothing went wrong, but I think this is something that should be addressed.

We had a wonderful time snow tubing at Mountain Creek today. We expected it to be crowded on a holiday with most of the sessions sold out but it was very well-organized and staffed. We enjoyed 6-7 runs during our session which is way more than other nearby hills. And it was great warming up by the fire before heading home. We will be back!
