MOTEL CASA GUEST HOUSE

I was in a family visit for a death situation in New Jersey between December 25-27. During that time there was a snow storm coming through the area which disrupted flights and road conditions. I made a reservation at Motel Casa guest house and I was planning to spend the night there since I have an early flight. Unfortunately, the storm makes it almost impossible to commute an hour to the motel besides my flight time was changed. I attempted to cancel my reservation within an hour after I made the reservation and paid. The person who was communicating with me send a confirmation text and noted tha there will be additions $20 fee charge upon check in that wasn’t mentioned on booking.com, after I objected he waived it. It’s seems like a dealership nonsense. And after I explained my situation

HORRIBLE PLACE! This place is absolutely unacceptable. The room was dirty and smelled terrible. At the entrance there was a homeless person pretending to be a receptionist. The room could not even be locked, and there was no accessible bathroom for guests. The property is unsafe and uninhabitable. The owner is dishonest and now refuses to issue a refund, even though the conditions made it impossible to stay there. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this place.

I have been there for two days in Motel Casa. Very nice staff and comfortable Motel. Location is very accessable. I am full satisfied with services.

On booking it said the room included private bathroom but thats not the case. There was not even any body soap or clean towels included. It’s a home that you share with other people, you cant even lock your room. I felt very unsafe as a woman travelling alone. TV is useless because you dont have access to any channels. The place is also dirty with a weird musty smell, lot of dust, got allergies all night long. I was very disappointed, for the same price, book a hotel or an airbnb.

Misleading photes and internet description. 4 story house, not like the pics of large building. No bathrooms in rooms, they are shared multiple rooms. Complimentary airport shuttle (with very questionable driver) cost $20 then ran out of gas and had I to help push the vehicle to the gas station and donate $10 for fuel because driver had no cash. Did not stay in the shady neighborhood and had to shell out more $ for ride back to airport. Do not recommend. Sorry. Make a more accurate description of what it actually is and it would be less disappointing.
