Motel 8 Inn

Reasonable pricing, secure location, staff is friendly and inviting. Rooms are clean, but there was no fridge or microwave, which was definitely a negative to the stay. I'm not sure if that was the case for every room, or my room was just the exception. All and all I would highly recommend this motel.

We booked Motel 8 in Foley AR. Just thought you should know: There was dried white residue on both bed spreads. I took them off, thinking we could use the blankets below for the bed top. One of those blankets was dirty, as well, with dark dirty spots, and a piece of broom straw or wood? on it. Obviously not cleaned. The sheets were clean. The room was musty. The bed linens felt damp. It is humid here, but I did not expect that. The cloths hanging rack was broken, with one of the bars loose. Dust and hair(quite a bit of it) was on the floor in the corners of the carpet. The sheets, bedspread and blanket had cigarette buns in them. I did take the bedspreads to the office and got clean onew, along with a clean blanket. Just thought you would want to know.

Pretty shady area, dirty rooms, roaches flying across the room, no fridge no microwave

I've stayed here numerous times in the last few years. Yes, sometimes staying here will make you seriously reconsider your life choices, but maybe that's not such a bad thing! The rooms neither look nor feel particularly clean. I would never shine a UV light anywhere in the room. I think ignorance is best option here. The rooms are small and very outdated. Like, they needed a remodel 25 years ago. There's no WiFi, but you will get a surprisingly modern TV with decent chanel selection. Yes, there's all kinds of nefarious activities happening all around, but I've never felt unsafe or been harassed on the premises. The staff have always been very friendly with me. The only thing in the room beside the bed, table, and 2 kitchen chairs was the TV and Mirror on the wall, So Immediately we were Dissatisfied with our room upon entry and with in 15 Minutes I made way out to find an employee or Hotel Manager. I found the 1 Hotel attendant on the job to request a refund our $62 flat rate. Only to be informed that the paperwork my Wife signed for the room stated somewhere that there us a NO REFUND POLICY!! and to be honest for the $62 we spent for the Friday Night stay here there should have at least been a Microwave, Mini Fridge, Land Line, WiFi, or anyfkthing a Motel 8 Room Should be Furnished with!! On top of it being So Dirty that My Wife and I Cleaned the Bath tub and Shower walls ourselves before washing our body's in it. The AC filter had about 3/16
