Motel 6 Vallejo, CA - Six Flags West

My name is David Olmscheid and I am a Vallejo resident. On a couple occasions in between moving from one location to the Next, Motel 6, six flags has been a perfect respite..Edith at the front desk was so helpful in accommodating me and she was quick to call me when I had forgotten my passport and birth certificate at the hotel. Positive: It was. Quite Negative: It smelled like cigarettes. The man next-door had a huge dog and I think paying customers should be able to have clean towels every day.

I've been coming to this Motel 6 for a while now and I must say that for it to be a motel 6, the rooms are not as bad as you would think. The rooms don't stink or have run down hotel vibes but it's definitely something decent for the price. Housekeeping staff is nice. Also front desk staff Yasmine is very nice and helpful, she always makes sure I have a welcoming visit every time. So when you check in make sure you ask for Yasmine she going to get you right every time.

They are in the process of remodeling so it’s a bit of a mess outside but my room is like brand new! The bed is so comfortable and everything is so clean and nice! By looking at some of the earlier reviews I guess it was certainly time for a remodel but I have to applaud them. I had been planning on staying at red roof and had to leave because it was so bad and when I got here to Motel six they only had one room left. The lady at the front desk was so friendly and accommodating! I needed a handicapped accessible room and somehow she made that happen. The only thing I noticed is that they have not finished putting on the toilet paper roll holder so the roll of toilet paper is sitting on the handrail in the bathroom but I can certainly live with that. I could not be more pleased!

Rooms are small.amd run down, but they are clean. The wall are extremely thin and you hear EVERYTHING. Needed to wake up early is rough when your neighbors party all night and there is things shared door. Front desk did their best, but I had to call 3 times before I finally gave up. I definitely recommend going somewhere else. The beds are also extremely uncomfortable. I should also add that there is nothing around the doors to keep out light or all of the smoke that is on the property. Seriously, this place defines "you get what you pay for" and never stay here.
