Motel 6 Tampa, FL - Fairgrounds

From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was HORRIBLE. It smelled of cigarettes or damp sheets, and people were loitering outside the rooms in unsafe conditions. Upon entering, the situation worsened. The sheets were filthy, with horrible, visible stains, which is unacceptable. This place doesn't meet even the most basic standards of cleanliness or safety. I absolutely do not recommend it, not even for a budget night. It's better to pay a little more somewhere else than to stay in these conditions. Almost all night, we could hear kids and music, I know it's their space, but we're all trying to rest after a trip, and it's not fair. They could ask them to be quiet; you can sometimes hear doors slamming shut. Also, regarding cleanliness very hard and wakes us all up and we can't sleep well,

This room served our purpose. The front desk staff was friendly. The hallway Smelled of dog. Maybe remove carpet in hall. Our room smelled of cleaning solution. This motel might want to use a cleaner that is for people that are sensitive. A fresh coat of paint would also be good. Our heater didn't work only the air conditioner. This is a great place to stay if you have a dog that you are traveling with. This motel is about 20 minutes from Tampa International Airport. If I owned a dog and needed a place to stay I would stay here, they are very welcoming.

First of all I was lied to about the price being totally different in person. My room was very smelly, the hallway is very smelly, my bed the sheets looked very dirty I was very uncomfortable laying down. My toilet is constantly running my shower is constantly running. It's not worth my money at all. The walls are nasty with holes. The remote control is not working at all. I HATED HERE. ITS NOT WORTH THE PRICE 🤬

This was the most disgusting and unsafe place I have ever stayed at! Front desk wasn’t answering the phone so I went to show them pictures of stains on bedding and he was very rude and didn’t care. He said “this is the place you chose”. Attendant also claimed they do not have to accommodate ADA because they are only a 2 story hotel. We had to carry my husbands scooter up the stairs while a lot of different groups were loitering in the stairway and hallways smoking pot and drinking. The latch on our door was broken and we felt very unsafe for not only for us in the nasty room but also for our vehicle and property. The attendant was not interested in hearing about the shady element loitering around. It was just an awful place in all respects I ended up sleeping in my truck - I fel
