Motel 6 Rockford, IL - Rfd Airport

Check-in was confusing and impersonal. Even though there were two people standing at the desk, I was directed to use a kiosk with a remote agent on a screen who was very difficult to understand. Not a great first impression. I got to my room and found the bed rock hard, but I figured, fine, it wasn’t expensive. I’d deal with it. The next morning, there was no hot water. I was told it would be “fixed,” but I was not offered another room or any accommodation. I was essentially expected to leave for the day without being able to shower. When I returned later, the hot water was working again, but the lack of concern or effort to help was frustrating. That night was even worse. Around 1 AM, someone was knocking on my window. The worst hotel i have ever stayed at. The heat went out the coldest day of the year -15 and it took them all day to come fix it after calling several times. Also called front desk to have my room cleaned and was never cleaned called 4 days in a row to ask why it wasn't cleaned and when they could. Day 5 and still not cleaned. But a least the heat finally works. updated day 6 still not cleaned but was asked to leave because we left a bad reviews. I repeat this is the worst place we have ever stayed. they will not fix any issues

Positive: "" Negative: That motel room was dirty and filthy it had Fingerprints of the the pillow cases had stains it was obvious that the bedding had not been changed there was no soap in the bathroom

This is not your regular Motel 6, The rooms were very very clean, the service was great. The cost was amazing. If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely stay at this location, they have a fitness room, the bed was very comfortable. The only thing I can say was the Towels were very thin but hey I can overlook that because everything else was Great...

I did not stay at this hotel but am leaving a review to call attention to policy and communication of policy. I canceled my reservation after being informed that cats are not allowed. Reasoning behind that could be debated but that is not my complaint here. I was unable to find this policy listed anywhere. It really is something that should be communicated clearly on your website and/or during the booking process.
