If I could chose 0 stars, I would. There were BED BUGS. When I brought this to the Managers attention he came to the room to see for himself. When he was shown the bug still in the bed crawling around, he tried sweeping it off the bed while saying with a irritated tone “I don’t know how this got here, our housekeepers clean very well”. As I was grabbing all my things to leave. He then offered another room. We have stayed many times before with no problems and because of the hold that would not be able to be returned without a wait time we opted to stay in another room. We stayed our one night with no further issues. 3 days after checkout I noticed a $50 hold on my card that I gave for incidentals. So far just on my list of hotels I've been in this would be the worst one on my bracket. I've never been rejected fresh sheets and towels before. They rejected it with an attitude stating that the room has already been prepared. Go to the room. Me and my boyfriend had to look over everything noticing firstly that the floor was really dirty. Couldn't walk with no shoes or socks on. Then the pillows had hair on them as if they never changed them! Next the WiFi is hell of sketchy here my phone determines scams and stuff and it kept flagging the usage of the WiFi so we just used his hotspot. The overall experience I rage a 2 out of 5. I didn't see any bugs so that's the reason it gets a two for me. Also the $50 deposit for the room better be returned because I took pictures before we left room

Very pleasantly surprised but this motel. The room was very clean and freshly painted. The continental breakfast was awesome with make your own waffles and many other choices. Juice, milk, coffee, fruit, cereals and more were available. We plan to stay there again when we come back. Highly recommend if you are on a budget but don't want to compromise. 😀👍

Decent hotel, hardwood floors, little fridge, cleanish. Will not be back though for these reasons; towels were awful thin, small, dirty looking and to make things worse, we were there for 3 days and no house keeping service so on day 3 I asked for more towels - after 4 attempts to contact front desk, the front desk guy tells me I have to come get them, I was like ok from where, he said UM obviously the front desk, my reply no that's not obvious I usually don't have to do my own laundry at hotels. 2. The bed sheets had little balls on them and did not fit correctly so kept coming off. 3 Two large set women sat outside our room in their car day and night watching trafic come in and out of a room, was afraid I'd see my car on a epposiode of cops.

I have nothing negative to say about this property. The parking lot is well lit, landscaping is well cared for. The hallways and walkways were swept and vacuumed. The checkin process was courteous, respectful and appreciative of my business. Despite this being one of the cheapest rooms in Rockford, that's not the way they treat the property of their guests. The room/hotel was recently renovated, rooms and common areas all felt clean and fresh. Bedding was free of any stains, sheets were vibrant and bright instead of dull and washed out. The only thing that dates the room would be the old type of heat/ac units in the wall. I get that changing these out is price prohibitive.
