Motel 6 Redding, CA - Central

I’ve been fortunate enough to travel the country with my two dogs on multiple occasions and have frequented many Motel 6’s and this one is one of the best. Tiffany and her staff are friendly, attentive and thoughtful. During the extended amount of time that I spent there the rooms were clean, well maintained and the staff was always quick to ask if the room need any service and called my dogs by name. Despite being centrally located this motel 6 was quiet and relaxing. I can’t say enough nice things about the customer service and hospitality that I received from Tiffany and her entire team.

The loud noise from the pub next door will not let you sleep until the wee hours.|I am typing this review from my hotel bed as my whole body vibrates rhythmically with the persistent copy-machine-like beats of the "music" coming from the club right next to the hotel. |It's really late (past 11 pm), we drove 5 hours to get here, and tomorrow we have about 7 more. We chose this hotel to rest (good luck with that) because of it's proximity to the freeway. ||The room is good, the staff is great, but we are exhausted, upset, and seriously considering our options (should we try to get a room in another hotel?)||It would have been nice if someone would have warned us about the umbearably loud noise that we'd be hearing tonight. My family have been staying here while waiting for our apartment to be ready and I’d say we love it here. The staff are great and the manager Tiffany is an angel. Lots of things to do near by and the WiFi is top notch. It’s nice and quiet so sleep has been no problem at all. Thank the staff for being so amazing.

Dealing with this location was a COMPLETE NIGHTMARE! I booked a room here on Expedia for our return trip to Seattle from Anaheim and prepaid for it. After driving with 3 kids all day we finally got into Redding ready to get to bed as the next day we had another 8+hour drive. The clerk said he didn't know why the booking went thru on Expedia as they don't allow 5 people in one room. He wouldn't give me the room I prepaid for and his only advice was to pay for an additional room, oh and not mentioned in the listing, a $100 deposit per room. I said wait, you want me to split my family into separate rooms? Mind you my 3 kids are little, we just spent a week at the Anaheim motel 6 with zero issues. They fit into a double bed just fine.
