Motel 6 Portland, Or – Southeast

This is the best Motel 6 I have ever been in hands down. No other Motel 6 comes close. The owner takes pride in his property. Everything on the outside is well kept and clean and plenty of parking and even has a grassy area for your dog with a waste receptacle. Now let’s talk about the room. I was shocked when I opened the door and walked in. Extremely clean floors and an upgraded bed from what you normally see in a motel 6. The bed sheets are very good quality and feel like satin. Beautiful size Samsung TV and matching remote. The furniture is in great condition, plenty of outlets and usb ports and the bathroom was spot on. The owner is a straight forward man and will have you checked in a few seconds. Housekeeping is fast and a sweet lady. Great for families. Definitely will stay here ag

Positive: Absolutely nothing but the restaurant in the adjoining parking lot. Negative: The hotel room doors only had one locking door handle , no deadbolt, or security chain. Being the hotel had sketchy people loitering throughout the halls I could hardly sleep.

We were on a very tight budget, and this motel met our needs. Our room was clean, water was hot, bed was comfortable, and AC was great. Mr. Patel, the manager, made sure we had everything we needed, and was able to get us a room on the ground floor as requested. |The neighborhood is a bit on the dodgy side, but we felt safe, due to plenty of outdoor lighting and security cameras, which were monitored at the front desk. We would return.

Don't expect to get any sleep. Doors slamming all hours of the night causing the building to shake. No sound brake in walls or floors/ceilings. You hear everything and people are not shy about making noise all hours of the night. Rooms are average for a budget motel and pets stay free. Those are the good things. Not a place I will stay again

The rooms themselves are great but they were incredibly nasty and verbally abusive in handling guests. Apparently opening the lobby door is grounds to be cursed at and asking for extra towels gets you a lecture. Would never book here again.
