Motel 6 Newport, RI

I booked one night Using AAA, When I arrived at check in time the very rude receptionist told me they don't take reservations from AAA. Now I am stranded and she refused to reimburse the charges on my Credit card. She said AAA would have to reimburse me. AAA tried contacting Motel 6 several times with out any luck. I am still disputing the charges. This is a very shady operation and on arrival seeing the condition of the place and the shady looking people living there maybe it was a blessing to not have a room. do yourself a favor and do not book this motel.

I had a wonderful experience during my stay at Motel 6. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, offering everything I needed for a relaxing visit. The staff was friendly, helpful, and made the check-in process quick and easy. I also appreciated the convenient location and easy parking, which made my trip even smoother.

This is the grossest place I’ve ever stayed. Reeks like weed and cigs, some tweakers dog tried to attack me twice and barked all night long, tv looked like it had a bullet hole in it, sticky walls, holes in doors, literal feces in the toilet still. Heard some weird beeping from somewhere in the room, honestly would t be surprised if there’s hidden cameras. Half the rooms are abandoned or have people living in them full time. If you bring that up the front desk will shrug their shoulders. The next day our keys didn’t work, walked around looking for anyone who worked there for an hour and couldnt find a single employee. Had to call the corporate number who couldn’t reach anyone either. We were supposed to stay another day but obviously decided to leave, as we were driving away my husband t

Positive: The desk clerk, was friendly and professional. Negative: First floor is kind of clammy, but decently clean and neat. It was okay for an inexpensive hotel, and actually kind of convenient that it was located next to a shopping plaza.

The people working there are Fantastic!! They were very friendly & helpful. No matter what we asked for, they delivered. The room was spacious & comfortable!! The only problem we're the fruit flies & the outdoor entrance on our hall was broken. Other wise, we enjoyed ourselves & had No major problems. Thank you Motel 6 in Newport, RI. 5 Stars to the staff 😊
