Motel 6 Modesto, CA - Downtown

Hard to find a place to stay with your dogs in the area but this place is ok for the price. They are gated so that a big plus for the area. Lots of parks and restaurants around. They have an onsite laundry area with reasonable prices. Rooms are very clean and they have a nice little patio that I wish allowed dogs. Noe was very nice and super helpful. Gracias!

I would stay away until new management takes over when they do. The hustled me out of $700 saying the night auditor accidentally cancelled the reservation and made us pay again and I never got my money back. The unit next to us literally caught on fire and not one person from the hotel checked on us or provided an explanation. In fact, they made us leave the next day and refused to let us rebook. They new what they did and wanted us out before we caught on. Plus, a worker who stays there had a dog that attacked our 16 year old little dog and knocked us over too. Plus, plenty of tweekers around. No apologies, nothing.

Terrible place, loud house keeping were talking loudly since 8 am ( como verduleras gritando de esquina a esquina ) We were late a couple of minutes and we had house keeping bangging at the door telling us that it was check out time, we told them that we were almost done and they were yelling and bagging at the door again and we told them that we were on out way out. We received a call from front desk giving us 5 minutes when we were on our way out. Bad experience rude people. I will never comeback to this motel.

Positive: The Wi-Fi did not work, I could not get any work done Negative: The cable TV kept losing signal

A nice cheap hotel. Bed was super comfy, room was clean. Just what we needed as a stop off. Only negative at all was no kettle/percolator in the room but free coffee in reception and a dennys 3 mins down the road
