Motel 6 Merced, CA - North

Positive: The manager has great customer service. She always has a smile when she greets you as soon as you walk thru the door Negative: Just one staff had a bit of attitude and felt like when I was asking about extending my stay, kept talking to me like I was Incompetent of what she was saying. I figured it was too early and i was being difficult and apologized but she brushed me off.

I stay here a lot to spend time with my long distance partner. The housekeeping staff are incredibly childish. They always come to the door in the morning and say check out at 11. Two times we have said “okay” and closed the door but I guess we didn’t say okay nicely enough for them or closed the door too fast because when we came back they said my partner was banned. This has happened twice now and I just think it’s ridiculous. We have never said ANYTHING rude or bad at all in that case. I think the issue is their staff is so entitled and miserable that they take it out on their customers. I would LOVE to know why and have a valid reason as to why we have been treated this way. My boyfriend is black and I just want to make sure discrimination isn’t the issue with them because I don’t see

I like the service Adriana is so helpful and nice I like how there no loud noise everybody is nice house keeper makes sure you get everything you need

Nice rooms with mini frig, microwave and comfortable clean bedding. I liked the bathtub /shower combo which is hard to find in most motels now. There's a dog area in front of the motel and nice small grass outside the rooms for your 4 legged family members. Also the staff was very friendly and helpful. It's located within walking distance to food and drinks. I'm up very early but the city gets busy and a little noisy about 6:15 am, perfect time to get complimentary coffee in the lobby. Motel 6 has really come a long way from the old days, I'd definitely stay here again.

So far,so good. Not bad place for an overnight stay. It's out little bit out of your way. Not bad. You have to walk about 1/3 a mile. It's right behind Merced Costco. I don't know, if you can walk through Costco property, as a short cut?!?? Good room,&a tv.
