Rodeway Inn Near University-Gateway to Yosemite

Room 112 could use a bathroom remodel, but it works. Windows could use replacing for sound because the rooms face the freeway. Overall I would stay here again. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The a/c unit turns off when it reaches the set temp. It can not be used as a sound dampener when set to cool the room.

Rooms are decent, AC is to far into the corner to freshen up the whole room but aside of this I highly recommend NOT STAYING HERE 🚩🚩🚩they will take your deposit for everything blankets, pillows, towels on the floor. Female nature stains, hair dye stains etc the list goes on. GM was helpful but the supervisor is a total hothead, she needs to be replaced with someone more mannerful that can speak English and has business knowledge. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Save yourself the bad time, arguing, & loss of money.

I had a wonderful stay at the Rodeway Inn in Merced. The room was clean, comfortable, and provided everything I needed for a relaxing visit. What truly made my experience exceptional was the outstanding service from Rosie at the front desk. She was welcoming, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. Her warm hospitality made me feel right at home. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Merced, and I’ll definitely be staying here again. Thank you, Rosie, for your excellent service!

Great Budget-Friendly Stay for Yosemite & UC Merced Visit. |Stayed here with 3 of my mates while travelling from UK, visiting Yosemite and attending orientation at UC Merced. We were traveling on a student budget, so finding a room with three beds at a reasonable price was a huge win.|The room was simple but clean and had everything we needed — perfect for a few nights' stay. Very VERY clean, inside and out. Only problem I'm having is trying to get my deposit returned. They say they put it through for the $100 to be returned to my credit card. I use cash app, which immediately shows ALL activity. It is NOT showing returned. I call and they just keep saying they already post for deposit. This time tomorrow they gonna have me camping out in their lobby if it's not back on my card. Very suspicious.
