Motel 6 Mcallen, TX

The staff was friendly and accommodating.The rooms have attempted to be updated, laminate floor as opposed to dirty carpet was nice. ||I was here for work and on a budget looking for safe, clean and inexpensive. I booked for a week and asked if they had any rooms with a refrigerator, They were kind enough to bring a small unit to my room. Overall I was satisfied with my stay.||||Only annoyance was loud guests next door with loud music and people hanging out in the parking lot. Walls are thin. ||||Would suggest maintenance of AC room has musty smell, checking tubs for new faucets and checking shower pressure, new bed sheets, replacing exterior door mats and painting the doors.

Great hotel, staff was very helpful. Enjoyed our stay very much. Will definitely be reserving again in the future!!!!

Room had no fridge or microwave. Only lights that worked were in the restroom and sink area. Not the main room area and it was a 2 bedroom. Had an extension cord going to the sink area to the TV. And all other outlets did not work.Plus with the electric ac unit you weren't to sure what settings you were putting cuz they some how rigged it with turn dials.

It was okay , pool wasn’t open but the front desk lady was super nice.

Strangely enough this place has given me some of the best service I've had lately. Just about every time I went to the office I was greeted by someone different and they were very polite. They made sure I had everything I needed before I went back to my room. The rooms arent all that and could use some touch ups and some upgrades. But this is Motel 6 you get what you pay for but here it's worth every cent and then some.
