La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham McAllen Convention Center

Let me start by saying that the hotel smells amazing! The air fresheners are top notch! Love that there was plenty of seating in the lobby and a nice bar! TVs were on the Cowboys game this morning which was a plus! The hotel was very clean including our rooms. Loved that they had Shampoo/Conditioner/Bodywash/Lotion dispensers in the our rooms. The pool area was very tidy and there was lots of seating there too. And finally the breakfast set up was more than I imagined! I normally skip bfast continental bfast but I La Quintas bfast was better than I could have imagined! I don’t know if this is a daily spread or just a weekend spread but they served, menudo, tamales, eggs, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereal, fruit, pastries and all the fixings! Is the 3rd time we choose to stay at this hotel due the hotel location. A lot of stores and restaurants nearby. The breakfast is very good too. The rooms are spacious and clean. With microwave and fridge perfect if you are traveling with kids

Excellent service and great rooms! At check-in, we were greeted with complimentary happy-hour drinks, which made for such a warm welcome. From check-in through breakfast, the service was outstanding. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. We’ll definitely be staying here for every McAllen trip. Highly recommend!

Embassy was booked and me and my husband never stayed here at la Quinta but it is so beautiful and clean! The best time we had was at the bar with Art the Bar Manager ! He is very friendly and made us feel at home! Thank you for your hospitality!

We stayed for 2 nights at this La Quinta and had a great experience. Everyone was so friendly, greeted me right away, said “Good morning”, smiled, etc. Room was impeccably clean. Location is convenient to shopping and restaurants that it was easy to choose what to do and eat. We’re locals and really enjoyed our staycation.
