Motel 6 Gainesville, FL

Positive: .leaving Negative: Everything dirty pool dirty hallways piss poor internet..

Never staying here again. The property is run down and needs basic repairs or maintenance. A room we walked by on the first floor had a bullet hole in it. We stayed one night and at midnight a stranger attempted to enter our room. They had a key to open our door given to them at the front desk! In the morning our keys no longer worked. I've stayed a lot of places but I never had that happen to me before.

It's hard to get to. You habe to drive through this BP station and only the first entrance. If you miss it you'll end up back on the freeway. Otherwise for the price. Can't complain. Friendly check out. I was accidentally booked on the 3rd floor so he made the adjustment. The room had a mini fridge. HBO. Hot shower. The towels were dissapointing and seemed not washed well. Also it felt sketchy in the parking lot at night. Otherwise I am happy with my stay. Reasonable price and took our service dog. I've seen worse motel 6's in scary areas so this one was fine. It's also in a great location and Marco's pizza is right down the street. Publix, taco bell. Even restaurants. I would go back to this motel gladly again.

My trip was okay I think cleaning wise can be a little bit better they didn't have enough towels or Rags or extra pillows what I say again only if it was an emergency

Typical Motel 6, nothing special. Room was a bit run down and dated (you get what you pay for, it’s a 6 after all) but the front desk lady was GREAT (I forgot her name, but I do know it started with M.) My mom had booked a room with one bed, but last minute I joined her. Without us even asking, the front desk lady upgraded us to a room with two beds, no upcharge. We were very surprised by that, you typically do not see friendly service at these cheap, run down roadside motels.
